Tax Cuts and Jobs Act: Still Powering American Growth

Even years after its passage, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 continues to fuel small business growth and entrepreneurship. Recent reports from the Small Business Administration show that startups and mid-size businesses are thriving, largely thanks to the lower corporate tax rates and immediate expensing provisions set into law during the Trump administration.

Conservatives have long argued that when government loosens its grip and lets Americans keep more of what they earn, prosperity follows. The numbers support it: business creation rates remain above pre-2016 levels, despite today’s headwinds from inflation and overregulation.

If policymakers are serious about reigniting American dynamism, the answer isn’t more spending programs. It’s a return to the proven pro-growth policies that empower individuals, not bureaucracies.
