Got something the national press is sitting on?

Forefront USA reads fifty-odd newsrooms every few minutes — but the story nobody has filed yet only reaches us if somebody sends it. That's what this page is for.

Before you send

Specifics beat outrage. Names, dates, dollar figures and document numbers are what let us hand a tip to a newsroom that can run it.
Tell us what you saw, and separately what you believe it means. Both are useful; conflating them isn't.
We're an aggregator, not a newsroom. We don't publish original reporting. Strong tips get passed to reporters at the outlets we track, with your permission.
Don't break the law or your own employment agreement to get us something.

Protecting yourself

This form is sent over an encrypted connection. We record the category, your message and — unless you check the anonymous box — the contact details you give us. We don't ask for or keep your IP address beyond what's needed to block spam.

If a tip could cost you your job, don't send it from a work computer or a work network, and consider leaving your name off it. For anything genuinely sensitive, contact a newsroom with a legal department directly.
